PUBLIC SOFT SKILLS TRAINING COURSES
As part of a service to the community, Geraldton Universities centre host public soft skills training courses. This means attendees don’t have to travel to Perth to develop their skills.
We have run programs for GUC for many years for example:
Leadership styles: which helps managers understand the importance of flexing their management style. We cover Situational Leadership and the 6 Emotionally intelligent leadership styles
Having difficult conversations: where attendees learn strategies and a framework to help them reach productive outcomes
Emotional intelligence: which covers the 4 main areas of EI: developing self awareness, managing emotions, demonstrating empathy and employing social skills to improve relationships and productivity
Managing personalities: where attendees learn to appreciate and value the differences of other styles and learn to communicate more effectively with them
